The birth of grandchildren brought Jackie to North Carolina in 2003.  Now she has four with whom she enjoys spending time. She brings to the board of Pharaoh’s Daughter many years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.  Since coming to this area in NC, she has worked for TrueBridge Capital Partners in Operations and Accounting and as a Senior Tax Accountant at William H. Bunch, CPA, P.A.  Prior to that, she had nineteen years of experience working for CPA firms doing tax work and providing advisory services for client accounting. She attended the University of Kentucky and completed coursework in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.  Jackie will retire at the end of 2017 and devote more time to volunteer work.

In the past, Jackie has served on the boards of Orange County Mental Health Association in Carrboro, NC, Partnership for a Drug-Free Community, CASA of South Central KY, and Joshua’s Place of Bowling Green, KY.  She currently serves on the Finance Board of her church.

Why Pharaoh’s Daughter?

I believe that Pharaoh’s Daughter serves a vital role in the area of helping women who are in the midst of unfortunate consequences based on their past behavior, but who have hope that there is a happy and productive future ahead of them. Keeping their families intact can keep their hope alive while they are incarcerated. I want to use my skills to help and support behind the scenes in this organization.  It is our calling from God to help the poor, sick, and downtrodden and my heart goes out to these women who are in this situation.
