Colleen is originally from Zimbabwe, but has lived in the US for 33 years where she has spent most of
those years practicing as a nurse. Colleen’s nursing experience has involved pediatrics, drug and alcohol
rehab, sales and marketing, geriatrics, but the last 26 years have primarily focused on that of being a
wound, ostomy, and continence nurse. Of those 26 years, Colleen has spent 10 of them being on a
professional board and participating in professional conference activities for her nursing organization.
She and her husband, Brian, moved to the Pittsboro area 3 years ago, and Colleen loves to spend time in
her garden with her bees and chickens! They have two children.
